CornbeltBaseball.com to start local baseball photo archive
CornbeltBaseball.com is thrilled to announce that our site is starting a digital archive. We’re going to start with the high schools in our local coverage area. That includes the 29 schools we currently cover plus all of the schools that were consolidated into these schools. So that means Olympia, Blue Ridge, Normal Community, Ridgeview, and GCMS, but it also means McLean, Farmer City, Towanda, Colfax, and Gibson City.
What we’re looking for are team photos from as many years and for as many schools as possible. Bloomington and Pontiac (and all the others!) have been playing baseball since the early 1900′s. We’d like to get as many of those team photos as possible. Please help us out by sending digital copies of any photos you can get your hands on to archiveproject@cornbeltbaseball.com. And be sure to include your information so that we may give you credit.
