GARY ALLAN COMING TO THE CORN CRIB IN NORMAL
Allen Concert Scheduled for June 20
Normal, Ill. - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, are proud to make their second announcement for the 2014 DuPont/Pioneer Summer Concert Series. Gary Allan will perform on Friday, June 20th for the first concert of the summer at the Corn Crib. The CornBelters will play their first regular season home game of the 2014 season (“CEFCU Opening Night”) at The Corn Crib on Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m. versus the Evansville Otters.
Country star Jamey Johnson and central Illinois favorites Zach Linley & The Rebel Daredevils will complete this great lineup, which will be produced by S.A.W. Events. The gates will open at 5:30 with the show getting under way at 7 p.m. Tickets will be $44 for reserved seats and general admission field tickets. VIP pit tickets will be $59. Parking is available at the Corn Crib and will be $10 per car.
CornBelters corporate partners, package ticket holders and host families will have a presale opportunity to purchase tickets from Wednesday, April 2 – Thursday, April 3 by phone and in-person only. E-mail newsletter subscribers will have a pre-sale opportunity to purchase tickets online only beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 3. Tickets to the general public will go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 a.m. To purchase tickets stop by the Mid-Illini Credit Union Box Office or call 309-454-BALL during normal business hours. Tickets can also be purchased anytime online at www.normalbaseball.com.
This is the second concert to be announced as part of the DuPont/Pioneer Summer Concert Series at the Corn Crib.

Set You Free, released on January 22, 2013 is Allan’s ninth studio album. His fourth number one hit, “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)” was released to country radio on September 17, 2012 and is his first since “Nothing On but the Radio” in December 2004. Allan spoke about co-writing with women for the new release in an interview with Broadway’s Electric Barnyard. He described his first time in his career doing as an interesting experience. The albums second single, “Pieces” was release early in 2013 and the third single, “It Ain’t the Whiskey”, was release in September of 2013.
